Dr Greg Janes

Dr Greg Janes specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip.

Dr Janes trained in Orthopaedic surgery in the United Kingdom and in Perth. He achieved his Orthopaedic Fellowship in 1994. He then completed a fellowship in upper limb surgery with Dr Hales and Honey in upper limb surgery.

Dr Janes was a Senior Lecturer with the University of Western Australia in Orthopaedic Surgery for 4 years and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to Royal Perth Hospital for 8 years.

Dr Janes is the current WA representative to the Board of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and has been a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery for the past 5 years. He also holds a position on the Medical Advisory Committee of Hollywood Private Hospital.

Dr Janes has been an Orthopaedic Consultant to the Western Force Rugby team since its inception. He consults in West Perth.
