Dr Peter Hales

Dr Peter Hales specialises in hand and upper limb surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and hand.

Dr Hales obtained his Fellowship in Orthopaedics in 1980, and travelled to England to undertake a Fellowship in Hand Surgery in 1981. He then completed post graduate studies in Hand and Upper Limb surgery in Europe and the USA.

Dr Hales has presented extensively both locally and internationally on surgery of the hand, shoulder and upper limb and is a past president of the Australian Shoulder and Elbow and the Australian Hand Surgery Societies. He is a foundation member and Vice President of the Asian Shoulder Society and a past chairman of the Western Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Hales is also a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to the Fremantle Dockers AFL team.

Dr Hales is a director of OGL (WA representative) and consults in West Perth.
